Speaking at Donut.js this coming week

I've given presentations at a number of conferences this year. Most of them have been far away from my hometown in Portland, Oregon, but Tuesday, September 26th @ 6pm I'm giving a very abbreviated (15min) version of my MIDI talk at a local series called Donut.js:

Tickets are $10 and there are, as the name implies, donuts. It's way better than the snacks they serve at BlandBoiledPotatoes.js.

Proceeds go to local non profit JOIN (http://joinpdx.org/) — an organization that supports the efforts of those in the Portland Metro area experiencing houselessness to transition into permanent housing.
