The Time I Won Tim Ferriss' Pants in a Haiku Contest

For posterity, this post commemorates that time, nearly ten years ago, that I won author Tim Ferris' jeans in a haiku contest on Twitter.

My victory has been immortalized in this tweet:

The jeans were Howies jeans and probably too big for me, but I wore them into the ground none the less.

Those were the earlier days of Twitter, when people were nicer, and we had fewer tyrants demonstrating their absence of leadership and dignity ridiculing civil-rights leaders.

I miss old Twitter.
