Visiting DPRK and a nutty idea...

Next month I'm visiting the DPRK by way of Koryo Tours to run in my first-ever marathon! If all goes well I'll be there two weeks — one week in Beijin beforehand while I acclimate to the timezone and another week in Pyongang where I'll participate in a tour — or maybe two-plus months if I do something stupid....

But before any of that, I thought I'd try something nutty and see if a random person out there feels like buying me this nearly $3,000 Old Thyme Nut Grinder as pre-Koream-adventure departing gift:

Lately I've been obsessed with making my own nut butters. Almond butter. Peanut butter. Cashew butter. Pecan butter. I haven't tried it yet, but I think macadamia butter would probably be fantastic!

I did the math and my nut-butter obsession should begin to pay for itself somewhere around the 1400th pound of almond butter after getting one of these.
