Giving Talks as a Means to Travel

I'm experimenting with giving talks at tech conferences right now as means to travel. After last Fall's experience giving an Ignite presentation in Portland about my year as a digital nomad, I've been intrigued by the idea of giving more technical presentations at conferences.

It turns out these conferences exist all over the world and many of them have open calls for speaking! I've compiled Twitter list that follows a number of web-development-centric conferences here:

You can also peruse conferences open to speakers over on Laynrd on their Calls page, which is a bit hidden from the main navigaton:

lanyrd.com/calls/

Another good resource to look for events soliciting calls for proposals is PaperCall.io:

Do you have resources to suggest for CFPs? Get in touch and I'll add it to this list!
