Writing everyday
• ~200 words • 0.7 minute read
Writing everyday is a guarantee with yourself that you'll write poorly, at some juncture. Particularly when the general trajectory of all this writing doesn't have any particular focus. If you tell yourself you want to spend everyday of the year writing on our blog, and if you still dedicate yourself to writing in a more personal journal in the mornings and evenings, and if between those bits of writing your day is filled with writing emails to people about a wide range of things, professional and otherwise, and between those things you're writing in code that reads like poetry crafted in pidgin English then sometimes your blog will have days like today; a day when all you're really doing is moving the words around on the page. Today was as rich and nuanced as yesterday was and tomorrow will be but there just aren't any words for it.
Maybe they'll arrive tomorrow.
