Speaking at Donut.js this coming week

I've given presentations at a [number of conferences](/talks) this year. Most of them have been far away from my hometown in Portland, Oregon, but Tuesday, September 26th @ 6pm I'm giving a very abbreviated (15min) version of [my MIDI talk](https://midi.mand.is) at a local series called [Donut.js](https://donutjs.club/):

[Tickets are $10](https://donutjs.club/tickets/) and there are, as the name implies, donuts. It's way better than the snacks they serve at BlandBoiledPotatoes.js.

Proceeds go to local non profit [JOIN](http://joinpdx.org/) ([http://joinpdx.org/](http://joinpdx.org/)) — an organization that supports the efforts of those in the Portland Metro area experiencing houselessness to transition into permanent housing.
