There's an [article in Business Insider](http://www.businessinsider.com/hoverbike-helicopter-2011-6) today about an Australian mechanical engineer named Chris Malloy who wants to build hoverbikes and sell them for $40,000.    You'll find plenty of [still photos of the hoverbike](http://www.hover-bike.com) being test on his website, but the only video available is this smoke test on YouTube:
